On September 1st, Steve Jobs presented the world with the new iTunes 10 logo. Many have voice their opinion about the ugliness of the logo, but knowing how stubborn Apple is when it comes to their decisions, it probably isn’t going to be changed anytime soon. With that said, let’s just change the logo ourselfs.
I am going to be using the iTunes X Icon Replacement by Kol for my tutorial. You can pick any icon you fancy. Just make sure its provided in the .ico format.
Please Note: iTunes must be closed using the method below. Make sure iTunes.exe is NOT running!
Step 1
Download Gconvert5 from here:
http://www.gdgsoft.com/download/gconvert.aspx
Install the program.
Step 2
Once you are in the GConvert 5 program, Navigate to Tools > Modify Icons in EXE/DLL

In the “Select Executable File to Modify” field, navigate to your iTunes.exe
(usually in C:\Program Files\iTunes or C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes for 64bit users)

Now you should see the icons for the iTunes.exe file. Click each iTunes icon and change them one-by-one with the icon of your choice
That’s it! Your iTunes logo should be showing up. You may have to recreate your iTunes shortcuts for the new icon to show up in some areas!
